I found David Chicken on the internet. After viewing his website, I contacted David and within a few day's I received a David Chicken promo package. After viewing David's Bio & DVD, I knew he would be perfect for the Balloonapalooza Balloon Festival we were having in North Las Vegas. I hired him immediately. As the featured children's entertainer, he would perform 4 shows over 3 days. From our first conversation David was energetic, professional & easy to work with.

Finally the festival was underway, and David's shows were a smash hit. Kids and parents alike enjoyed David's brand of entertainment. He interacts with kids & parents on stage, making everyone a star. Kids were lining up to come on stage to sing & dance with him. David's original songs are fun & catchy, and will have you singing and dancing with your little ones. David Chicken is a top-notch children's entertainer. I would hire him again for future events.

Wow! Our community is still clucking over David & Mama Chicken and of course, Super Chachie! As a fundraising director for a nonprofit agency, finding unique, family friendly and revenue-generating events is a challenge. All I can say, "David Chicken fits the bill!" The performance was very interactive, professional, and most importantly very inclusive for children with disabilities. Can't wait until next time ...

David has entertained us 2 years in a row at our Spring Open House at Highland Park Methodist. He is a HUGE hit with children as well as adults -- funny, enthusiastic, INCREDIBLE at his profession of singing and dancing! Everyone raves over him and can't wait until the next concert!

David, we really enjoyed having you at Knox's party. Everyone commented especially on how much fun the kids were having, which was the goal! So many kids' parties are more about the adults than the kids! You really made this a special day for Knox and we will never forget it. Thank you for your energy and genuine interest in each of the children there. Also, your mother is a wonderful lady and your kindness towards her speaks volumes and is a wonderful example to the impressionable children watching.

-Michelle Fail, mother

My name is Stacey. I just want to say Thank You So Much for the show you put on at the Lovers Lane Methodist Church in Dallas. My daughter, Ariel was the one dressed in the flower costume. She absolutely loved your show. I had to try real hard to hold my tears back to see how much these special needs children opened up and had a great time. She was much more excited at your show than she was seeing Dora The Explorer Live and she lives for Dora. I can't imagine the feeling you get when you make all of these children smile and forget the problems they have. The feeling I got just watching you make these children smile was very emotional for me.

Again, I want to thank you
Stacey, mother of two

David, we were there to see you, and you were absolutely wonderful! I am telling everyone! You not only entertained the kids, but also the parents! That evening we were singing your songs all the time, could not get them out of our heads. You managed to make all the children there a "star". The posters and tees w/ your autograph were special, but it's the DVD my 3 grandchildren are watching 24/7. Your Mom and your dog are special, too. My grandson is sorta shy at first, and when you put him on stage to play the guitar, he was shy, but then he "let loose". That also prepared him for this last weekend when he had a "Chuck E. Cheese" 4th birthday party, and he was not afraid to be next to CEC, as he has been in the past. Good luck, and hug your Mom and puppy!"

My family and I first saw David Chicken a little over a year ago. We have a 5, 7 and 10 year old. Going to David's concerts have proven to be some of the best family fun time ever. The music is geared towards the 3rd grade and under crowd, but our 10 year old son proudly displays his David Chicken hat, and sings along with the music when we play it in the car. David is fresh, original and shows a genuine zeal and passion for entertaining children with a positive upbeat humor. David Chicken has succeeded where so many others have failed. David NEVER condecends or talks down to the kids. He entertains his audience with a positive fun show that respects their intellegence. Be warned though, when you take your kids to see David Chicken, be ready to get involved and dance along. His music is just too much fun to sit still with!

I have been a big fan of David Chicken even before my daughter was born. His songs are catchy and smart enough that adults will find themselves dancing and singing right along with him! My daughter is 2 now and she LOVES David's CDs and DVD. We have been to his shows and she has gone up on the stage and danced. She sings the songs in the car and dances to them at home. She'll request her favorites all the time. David Chicken sends out great messages about hygeine and exercise while making it fun and silly. He's a giant ball of energy and is so much fun to watch perform. It's definately a good time!

David, I just wanted to thank you for doing such a great job. You did an awesome job. The kids had had a hard week with the TAKS test and they had a great time unwinding. Good Luck and we hope to have you back next year. Thanks again.

Dear David,

What a great day! Our Auction Kickoff Children's Festival was a huge hit thanks to you! Our turnout was almost double that of last year, and the children (and parents) loved the show. The St. Alquin community is a huge fan!

David… I wanted to say thank you for your excellent program today at Cochran Elementary. I teach special education students and they are often left out or overlooked in schoolwide programs. However, you made sure they were included in the same way as the other students. My entire class got to be on the stage at some point during your show. Three of my students do not speak but they wanted to sing a song on stage. You improvised "Twinkle Twinkle" with them and the entire audience helped them sing. This kind of interaction does so much for my kids self esteem but also teaches other students (and teachers) that these kids are people too and want to have fun and participate as much as anyone. Thank you for coming and being so wonderful with all the students. Everyone loved your show and can't stop talking about "that chicken man." You were great! I wish you success in all that you do... and again, Thank You!!

Sincerely,
Nicole Bevilacqua

Dear David Chicken,

Recently, you brought your David Chicken Live Show to Weber State University and it was a huge success. Children of all ages fell in love with your songs and dances. Although it has been six weeks since your show there are many children and parents that comment on how much fun they had.

As the Student Activities Family Programs committee, we wanted to bring a high quality family program that would include the whole family and your show was perfect. Your ability to make each individual in the audience want to be part of the show is an obvious sign that you care deeply for what you are doing.

Your show is one we would love to bring back again and again. We wish you great success and we will be looking for your TV show in the not so distant future.

Sincerely,

Marie Hunt

David,

Just to let you know, your CD has been a lifesaver. My son is 6 and is starting to have some major issues with attention span and following through with tasks. We've had a really hard time getting up and getting ready in the morning. I now wake him up everyday by simply turning on your CD and his light and walking away. He generally gets up and gets started on his morning list all on his own just because he is so exciting to hear your music.

It also used to take him around a half hour every time he went to brush his teeth b/c he was so easily distracted by the mirror. Now it takes him exactly 2 minutes. I know when he's gotten to brush your teeth on his list b/c I hear the song come on.

I am very grateful to you for what you do and that you gave him so much attention at the River Legacy Halloween party. At one point he came up to you to tell you that you are "the best" and instead of simply accepting his compliment, you gave him a hug and told him that he was the best. It meant the world to him b/c he has been struggling with school and his self-esteem really needed the boost.

Okay, I know that I'm just going on and on, but I'm just so amazed at the effect you have had on him. I'm a musician myself, I teach voice lessons part-time and I have always known the power of music, but I just never thought of using it to help him with these particular issues. I am just so grateful for the obvious time, effort, and love that you put into making music that is enjoyable for children AND PARENTS, which I thought was impossible, (I have your songs in my head all day and they don't annoy me =) and that is soooo helpful to kids.

Thank you,
Megan Morris

Hello David Chicken~

We are writing as new fans of yours as of Caitlin Garza's Birthday Party in July. We have a CD (we listen to it literally all the time) and are about to order a DVD. Is there anywhere we can pick a DVD up or is it online only? Are you going to be performing ANYWHERE in the area anytime soon? My 3 year old little girl, Madison loves to play David Chicken.. she plays you, her little brother, Cayden plays Super Chachie and I play Momma Chicken. Yeah, it's a blast! Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for being a positive role model in my children's life! You are a major celebrity in our household. Do you know where we might find a sheep-cow-horse? We have a request for one!

Thank you again,
Lauren Watkins

Dear David,

I just wanted to let you know that my nieces and nephews entertain themselves daily with your CD. I usually find myself singing it for the rest of the day after hearing it. It was no surprise that the children reacted so well when you performed at the Dallas Country Club. Your ability to relate to children on their own special level makes you a welcome addition to any young people’s event. We look forward to your next performance here at the club.

Three Clucks for David Chicken!

David Chicken recently did a benefit performance at our daughter's school. We had acts that night ranging from dancers to fire-eaters to magicians, and David Chicken blew them all away! He totally involves the kids in his act -- they love singing and dancing to his music. David's charm and enthusiasm is so infectious that he even brought the parents to their feet! David is a top-notch entertainer who is talented, personable, professional and completely endearing. I would highly recommend him as an entertainer for children of all ages.

 David,

Just wanted to let you know how thrilled we are to know children from all over will be able to experience your fantastic, fun, unique and slightly outrageous brand of educational entertainment! You are destined to be in the"who's who" of the best childrens T.V. personalities with your ability to create songs that kids can't resist singing and dancing to, combined with the characters you've created, and your genuine love for what you do.Watching you with little ones is an experience unto itself as you effortlessly smile and laugh with them; it is obvious to all you are a born entertainer with an uncanny ability to reach children of all ages and abilities.May you continue to inspire the imaginations, promote healthy self-esteem, and encourage creativity and individualism among people everywhere, young and old alike.

To David Chicken,

Hi how are you? Thank you for coming to my cousin Jack's birthday party. My sister Cassidy and I could never forget that day! We listen to your music every day! My whole family, even my mom and dad love your music! Cassidy and I were shy singing with you at Jack's party because we didn't know you that well. Now my mom says that we are your new fans or backup singers/dancers! Our 2 year old sister Avery won't stop singing the song Chicken and Dumplings! My name is Courtney and I just can't decide my favorite song! But I really like your theme song!

Sincerely,
Courtney,Cassidy,and Avery

David Chicken's performance added a whole new level of fun to the 2004 Dino Dash & Discovery Fest! He was the perfect addition to our family-geared party after the race, and everyone present clearly enjoyed the show. He is a gifted entertainer!

Hello David,

I don't know whether to thank you, or kill you ;-) I've watched "the chicken video" about 25 times now. My son LOVES it! I am now an expert at the Scakle dance and Jackson loves to sing the "Chicken & Dumpling" song. His favorite part is when you "squish them with your feet" and make that noise. He thinks it is soooooooooooooo funny.

Well David you were a hit at our son's birthday party! Every Sunday after church our family gets together and you were the topic of the day. The younger kids of the family think you are a family member and they think you are going to be with us on the 4th! My son has not stooped telling people you came to his birthday party! I'm glad I came across you on the Internet! You made my son and our family happy and we appreciate you coming out and we look forward to seeing you at your next show! Good luck with your career and GREAT JOB!

P.S. We took several pictures of our son with your hat on dancing and being silly… we'll send you one soon.

Thanks again,
Tanya A. Esquivel

David Chicken,

All eyes were on you - Kids and Adults. I am still receiving phone calls from friends and family on my daughters birthday party. We always do something neat for the kids birthday each year and everyone has stated that this was the best birthday party yet. My son and daughter now listen to your CD nonstop - I know all your songs by heart now. Thanks so much for making my kids day so special. Thanks for the positive image you have given them also. We will be call you again.

-Lee Cannon

David,

My children saw you at the Lake Highlands North Rec. Center for the Easter party that was there. My son, William, "won" a CD of yours (I think for making the best monkey noise). Anyway, it is now his favorite CD and he listens to it every night. Last night, before going to bed he "performed" a song for us. It was just about the cutest thing you've ever seen. Anyway, my daughters birthday is coming up (she'll be 4) and I was wondering if you do birthday party's, how much and if you were available April 20? Anyway, let me know.

Thank you,
-Linda Marx

David performed at my daughter's 5th birthday party. It was a hit from start to finish. I don't know if the parents or children had more fun. Outside it was poring rain; inside it was all sunshine and smiles.

Great job, David.
-Beth Palmer

David,

Our David Chicken party was the best birthday party yet. You did a great job of getting the kids involved. Even the shyest kids were singing and dancing along!

Thanks,
-Alix Perritt

David,

Just wanted to let you know how much my three year old grandson loves your new CD, Scakle Time. In fact, his Great Grandmother said if she has to make chicken and dumplings one more time because of his fondness for that song, she's going to insist that you provide food with the CD!

Thanks for this great entertainment for kids! Hope more is soon to come.

-Teddie Garrigan

Dear Mr. Chicken,

I just wanted to let you know how much my son enjoys your CD. Whenever we get in the car, he always asks for "his music", which means your CD, and he sings along to Bubble Gum, Chicken & Dumplings, and Sheep Cow Horse. Given the choice between your CD and Elmopalooza, he will choose your CD every time (and he is a big fan of Elmo). It means a lot to me to see him enjoying something so much and I’m very glad that we came across your music. Also, since his mother and I have to listen to the CD so often, it is very refreshing to hear such catchy tunes that don't drive us nuts. Most children’s music becomes painful to listen to after the first couple of times played, but your CD has stayed fresh and we all enjoy singing about Chicken & Dumplings and trying to figure out how to make the Sheep Cow Horse noise. Keep up the good work and we look forward to your next CD.

Thank you,
-David Bockes

Mr. Chicken,

My boys love your CD, and I have been scakling quite often. I even made my legs sore. They are listening to the CD as I type; my son Lucas is coloring the Super Chachie picture right now. He is so excited about everything. You are very talented. I hope this goes along way for you–it takes a special individual to use their God given talent for other people and children, especially, as they are the future.

-Kim Hampton

David,

My daughter Cardedria LOVES your Scakle Time CD. She played it all weekend and before I knew it she was singing each and every song. Pooh (Cardedria) is 11 years old now, and my other daughter Jasma is 13 years old. At first when Jasma heard the CD, she told Pooh that it was only "baby songs" and she didn't want to hear it. By Saturday I heard who I thought was Pooh singing and it was Jasma, Miss "I don't like the CD because its for babies" was singing the baby songs (GO FIGURE). I said Jas, why are you singing the "baby songs" and she said because it sounds good and I like the songs, MOM!!. So Saturday night we were in the kitchen cooking for dinner and me, Jas, and Pooh played your CD over and over and over and had lots of fun. So thanks again for showing Miss Jas that she is still a kid at heart.

-Penny Johnson
